Lawyers

We are always keeping an eye out for attorneys interested in pursuing a career with a clear focus on litigation and arbitration. We pride ourselves on providing a highly stimulating work environment in which our associates can reach their potential and become the next leading disputes lawyers.

We are highly selective

Above all, we are looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence and uncompromising service. We believe that being a litigation lawyer is a profession – not just a job. While we strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance, the critical situations of our clients at times require exceptional efforts. But working on weekends remains the exception rather than the rule.

The complexity of our work requires us to only select those individuals whom we deem to hold the potential to excel in our field. We only consider applicants who have graduated either magna or summa cum laude. Moreover, various other criteria may be advantageous in the selection process such as international experience, postgraduate education, language skills (especially English) or other professional experience obtained in the legal field.

Good manners and a willingness to help create a positive environment are also required. This includes respecting everyone at every level, both inside and outside the firm. We are a close-knit team with a unique culture.

What you can expect from us

We offer you the opportunity to work in lean teams on interesting international and domestic cases. From day one, you will be an integral part of our team. You will be doing trial work, not wasting your time on document review or due diligence. You will receive excellent training. Your talent and skills form the bedrock of this firm.

At our firm, you will find an open environment with flat hierarchies. We have no time for internal politics. Working hand in hand with our partners, you will quickly realise that we are only interested in one thing: how to advance our client’s case. It makes no difference to us whether the winning idea comes from a partner or a junior associate. We give credit where credit is due.

We actively encourage you to attend international conferences and to take on leadership roles in professional organisations. We will support you in the development of your professional profile.

Hiring process

After reviewing your application (cover letter, CV, diplomas etc.), we will conduct two rounds of interviews to discuss your application, your motivation for becoming a disputes lawyer and your vision for your career. You will also be given the opportunity to have lunch with an associate of your choice to ensure that you will get a first-hand account of life at our firm.
